Medium of Teaching
- The medium of teaching for the MA in Chinese Historical Studies programme is either Mandarin or Cantonese (daytime courses are mostly taught in Mandarin, while evening courses are mostly taught in Cantonese). Some specific courses are taught in English.
- The Capstone Experience Portfolio or Dissertation may be written in either Chinese (traditional or simplified) or English.
- Chinese (traditional or simplified characters) are usually used in course assignments. Students may also write in English with teachers’ approval.
